Cookie notice
Effective date: 13 jun 2026
1. Summary
The verain.ai website sets no cookies of its own. For aggregate visitor statistics we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool we host ourselves on our own EU-based infrastructure: it sets no cookies, stores no IP address, and builds no profile of you. We load no advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or social-media pixels, and our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page sends no data to any third-party analytics, font, or advertising provider.
2. Cookies we use
The website is static and has no logins, so it sets no functional, session, or preference cookies. In practice, browsing verain.ai currently sets no cookies at all.
The only cookie that may ever appear is strictly necessary for security: our content-delivery
and security provider Cloudflare can, depending on its bot-protection configuration,
set __cf_bm on verain.ai to tell human visitors apart from automated
traffic. Where set, it expires after about 30 minutes and is not used to track you across other
websites or to profile you. It is set only on our Cloudflare-fronted production domain, never on
staging.
3. What we don’t use
- No analytics cookies: our analytics (Umami) is cookieless and stores nothing on your device.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party tracking pixels or social-media embeds.
- No cross-site or profiling cookies of any kind.
5. Managing cookies
You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary security cookie may affect how some pages load, but the website remains usable.
6. Changes
If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first. The “Effective date” above shows when this notice was last revised.
